Here are some of the many common questions we get asked:
NO - When an event such as a wedding, birthday or social gathering is being held at a private residence, no SEP is required.

There are many factors that determine a reasonable amount of alcohol for each event.
There are certain guidelines to follow set out by the BCLDB which you can review here.
It really all depends on the type of event, how long is the event and how many guests are attending. We would be happy to work through quantities when planning your event with you.
YES - Nearly all weddings tend to obtain the SEP, purchase and supply the alcohol.
We provide the professional bar services for serving it at your event.
Events that are strictly for a business that is holding an event for it's employees and invited guests, is after regular business hours and are not charging for drinks - you do not need a SEP
Any events that are holding an event that is during regular business hours and for invited guests - you do need a SEP
You also need a SEP if you are holding an event where the public can purchase tickets.

Typically we do not because we strictly focus on professional bartenders and proving those trained staff for events.
On Some occasions we may have a bar back or additional team member to help with clearing our glassware and topping up supplies etc for the team.
On most occasions Catering Companies would be able to provide wait staff.
We operate in most of the lower BC regions from Whistler, Squamish, through Metro Vancouver out to Hope and throughout the Okanagan.
Our minimum call out is 6 hours for an event as it has to make sense for us and our team members.
